IMEM Workshop
Event date: Wednesday 25th May 2011 - Friday 27th May 2011
The aims of the workshop are to facilitate discussion and exchange of information amongst experts in international migration by focusing on the available data and various modelling approaches. The IMEM project will be presented in detail and discussed, along with invited presentations by some of those who have contributed their expert judgements and other experts in the field. The themes that are relevant to this work include: collection and availability of data, methods for combining and harmonising data, modelling approaches, and applications and frameworks for including uncertainty.
The workshop will be held just outside Southampton, over the period of three days, 25-27 May 2011. The event is limited to about 35 invited participants. For further information, please contact Dr. James Raymer by email (raymer@soton.ac.uk).
