Jackline Wahba
Principal Investigator, Understanding Migrants' Choices
Jackline Wahba is Associate Professor of Economics at University of Southampton, UK. She received her PhD in Economics at the University of Southampton in 1994. She is a research fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and the Economic Research Forum (ERF), Cairo. She is a member of the ESRC Centre for Population Change (CPC). Her main research interests are: Labour markets in developing countries, in particular (i) international migration, and remittances, (ii) labour mobility, (iii) child labour, (iv) the impact of economic reforms on developing countries' labour markets.
